BK Series - The Pinnacle of Support Units
The BK series support unit on the fixed side is engineered with JIS5 class angular contact ball bearings, finely adjusted by preloading for optimal performance. Notably, the ultra miniature types EK6 and EK8 feature ultra miniature angular contact ball bearings with a 45° contact angle, specifically developed for ultra miniature ball screws. This ensures exceptional rigidity, precision, and stable rotational performance. On the support side, deep groove ball bearings are utilized. The internal bearings of support units EK and BK come pre-loaded with high-quality lithium soap grease and are sealed with specialized gaskets, allowing for direct and long-term usage. (1) Our selection of bearings, known for their superior rigidity balance with ball screws, includes angular contact ball bearings that offer high rigidity and low torque with a 30° contact angle and customizable combinations. Additionally, the ultra-small support units EK6 and 8, equipped with specially developed ultra-small angular contact ball bearings, feature a 45° contact angle, small ball diameter, and a high number of balls. These bearings deliver unmatched rigidity, precision, and stable rotational performance.
